Soil Collection and Memorial for King Johnson ~ 12/11/2021

On Saturday, December 11, 2021, Connecting the Dots, in partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative, conducted a soil collection and memorial ceremony for Mr. King Johnson, who was brutally murdered in Brooklyn Park, MD (then part of Anne Arundel County) on December 25, 1911. The six memorial jars will be housed at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, along with local locations including the Banneker-Douglass Museum, Anne Arundel County Public Library, and the Anne Arundel County District Courthouse.
