On November 1, 2021, the St. Mary's County Museum Division, Equal Justice Initiative and other partners held an amazing Ceremony of Justice and Equity at the Old Jail Museum in Leonardtown, MD, to unveil the Benjamin Hance historic marker. Nearly 300 people came out to support the project and we're thankful for all the partners in St. Mary's County who participated in this cause.
