The annual Racial Justice Poetry Contest is open to 6th-12th graders receiving their education in Baltimore County. Entries are due in late Winter/early Spring with an Exhibition in April or May.

The Coalition supported the MD Lynching T&R Commission at the June 4, 2022 Truth & Reconciliation Hearing in Baltimore County.

Annual Maryland Lynching Memorial Project Conference

Held each October/November, the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project invites an array of experts in the field of racial terror lynching to discuss the latest research, trends, and recommendations. Go to the MLMP website for this year's conference information.

Soil Collection for Howard Cooper (2018)

2018 soil collection for Howard Cooper outside of the Old Jail located in Towson, MD. On July 13, 2023 the Coalition held a second soil collection. Soil from this collection will be part of a "Lynching in Maryland" permanent exhibit opening at the Lewis Museum Fall 2024.

During the early years of COVID, the Baltimore County LMP held a First Thursday series panels of scholars, researchers, advocates, and experts to discuss monthly films.
